Air Explore is a Slovak charter carrier based at Bratislava Airport, operating wet-lease and charter services across Europe on behalf of tour operators and other airlines. As a Slovakia-registered carrier within the EU, Air Explore flights departing from EU airports are covered by EC 261/2004. Passengers on Air Explore-operated flights — including those operated in another airline's livery under wet-lease — retain their EC 261/2004 rights. The operating carrier (Air Explore) is responsible for compensation in the event of qualifying delays or cancellations, regardless of the marketing airline's branding. EU Regulation EC 261/2004 entitles you to fixed compensation — regardless of what the airline tells you.
